“A journey is best measured in friends rather than miles”
Be it winding or straight, long or short, it's always good to have a friend to hold your hand when your breadth gets short. And occasionally, a passer-by reoccurs, asking if you're alright. All is well then, for God hears the silent prayers, and you know you're in safe hands, not directly, but He sends angels out to watch over us. We are but our own angels. Friendships created in a day, in 3 months, over 6 years, all have lasting impacts because we know it's hard to let go, because some things are worth keeping, because deep down, we really care.
Perhaps we've all been there, same path, same track, same confusion, same loss and same struggles. Of course no one else will ever really understand till they're in the same shoes. A friend once said, perhaps it's because we've not really settled. Either you decide to settle and be happy, or leave and be happy. There can never exist the in-between, because if you are in-between, then you'll just end up confused. Meanwhile, the best bet is stay confused till the time is up? It is the safest, which then makes us, schizophrenic as well? Are you?
